DAY ONE

Banff National Park

To begin our adventure (with a pickup in Canmore), we’re going to start in the stunning mountain town of Banff, in the very heart of the Banff National Park.

We will then head towards Moraine Lake, and then Lake Louise. Then, we head up the Icefields Parkway (arguably the most beautiful drive in the world), with a stop at Peyto Lake for its stunning vistas. We will then head back towards Banff (including, time permitting, a brief stop at Bow Lake via the Bow Valley Parkway). Lastly, a final drop off in Canmore.

Meal Inclusions: Lunch, drink, fruit and dessert – to go & free!

ACTIVITIES

There are various activities available in Banff before your tour – check our full activity list for details.

Optional activities are booked and paid through your Moose tour guide while on the tour. No need to pre-book! The following optional activities are available on this tour:

Banff Alberta Mountain

IMPORTANT NOTES

The Three Lakes day tour is a tour based out of Banff National Park, and shows the best of the famous lakes the Rockies.

Some sites on this tour are only available seasonally, and this tour only runs from late May until mid-October as Moraine Lake is only accessible during these times. If you want to visit these sites, please choose a departure within the appropriate date range.

This tour starts in Banff. The closest airport is in Calgary (YYC).

If you’re flexible about when you can travel, consider the pros and cons of our travel seasons! We only operate this tour in the Peak Season as everything is open, the weather is more consistent, warmer and generally drier, and the glacial lakes are in their full glory. However, traffic is busier, and the most popular locations on our itineraries can be very busy.

We take your safety, and the safety of our staff and partners very seriously. Please view our Safety Policy for more information.
