The township of Jasper in Jasper National Park reopened to visitors on September 6, 2024, after experiencing its largest wildfires in 100 years:

  • Roads Highway 16 reopened to all traffic on August 20, 2024, and 93N reopened to vehicle traffic on August 23, 2024
  • Trails Many trails on the Pyramid Bench reopened on August 24, 2024, and the climbing area at Morro Slabs reopened on September 1, 2024
  • Other areas The Icefields Parkway (93N) reopened to cyclists on September 6, 2024, and Miette Hot Springs reopened on August 18, 2024

Due to the severe unprecedented wildfires in Alberta, Jasper National Park is closed until further notice, including a full evacuation of the entire Town of Jasper. We are unable run our tours through this area until receive an update from Parks Canada. If you are on the July 27th tour or August 3rd tour, please contact us immediately to discuss your travel plans.
