Canada Information
There are lots of reasons to travel in Canada including our beautiful cities, amazing scenery, exciting activities and of course our wildlife and wilderness.
Canada is vast country—second only in land mass to Russia and much of the country still remains uninhabited. Most of the population lives within 300 kilometers of the US border--which is the longest undefended border in the world.
The weather in Canada can be extreme depending on your location. The lowest recorded temperature was a bone chilling -62 degrees C in the town of Snag, Yukon in 1947! Winters are normally cold with plenty of snow (great for winter sports) and summers are hot—great for boating and water activities. Canadians love the outdoors summer or winter!
